Introduction

Blogging! Not sure what I think of this epidemic called blogging, but I have decided I will form my opinion by adding myself to it. I am well prepared it might be one of those cliche moments of my life where I do something I live to regret but ...what the hell.

Frankly I dont know what Sting was going on about, he has nothing on me! I'm a Greek woman in SA, San Antonio of Texas that is. Yeehaw.
I won't get into the reasons of why, when and again in case you missed it, WHY I am here but lets just say the reasons are good enough.
Needless to say I am experiencing something everyone has experienced at some point in their lives...withdrawals.
Small cafe's where you can sip frappes for two hours withdrawals, windowshopping in small boutiques withdrawals, socially smoking without feeling like a criminal withdrawals, restaurants without the waiter telling you his life story withdrawals, almost getting run over by crazy drivers withdrawals, beachbar, taverna, feta, retzina, tiny car, fashionable people, and many more kinds of withdrawals.
I feel like going to an AA meeting and proclaiming "Hello, I am Christina and I'm a European snob!"
I refuse to make resolutions on how to shun this characteristic, because quite simply I do not wish to. Saying that, I don't want to sabotage my chances of having a great time here because of it. I do make it a point to embrace cultures....and people....no matter where it is, in this case even San Antonio.
